Why we absolutely want to stop covid-19 if it is not fatal for the majority of the population? In Africa with much less infrastructure and a much less sophisticated health system, they are doing very well with much less drastic measures. They have already faced other types of corona virus, have they developed immunity? Are we approaching the virus the right way in the West? We do not prevent children from all putting themselves in their mouths because they get sick, on the contrary we say they will develop their immune system. Protecting the most vulnerable, of course, but shouldn’t we let the rest of the population continue their normal lives and face the virus? Sweden didn’t take as much action, they had a lot more cases but not more deaths.
